Presentation at 9Nice Conference 2023

On 28 July - 30 July 2023, both Dr Fung and Timothy Tan had the privilege to travel to Kuching, Sarawak, to present some of the Senpai Learn's project at the 9th Inter-Asian Chemistry Educators (9Nice) Conference 2023. This conference was organised by Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM), and the theme for this conference was "Chemistry for Sustainable Development & Environmental Protection".

During the conference, Dr Fung gave a presentation on "Bringing Back Learning Communities in the 21st Century" while Timothy introduced ChemPOV, an digital multiplayer organic chemistry boardgame, to educators at 9Nice Conference. This was the first time Timothy presented in a conference and he gave a solid presentation to the audience. Many of the college educators who attended the conference were inspired by the presentation, and expressed interested in trying out the game!

Next, Timothy led a presentation on ChemPOV, a digital multiplayer boardgame on organic chemistry, to the audience. During the presentation, Timothy shared with the audience on how ChemPOV benefits organic chemistry learners, and some of the key features of ChemPOV. Many of the universities educators who attended the conference was inspired by Timothy's presentation and expressed interest in trying out the game.

At the end of the presentation, both Dr Fung and Timothy were presented with the certification of appreciation from the 9Nice Conference Organisers.
